Any GST increase will impact profoundly on the .25 ml Aussies with no home who are kept from destitution with help of the various charitable org’s. As a pensioner couple I estimate the impact on us & many other will be a minimum of $100 per week with no opportunity to recover this unless the Govt is over generous & nothing indicates this. If the rate were increased & they maintained the exemption on health & food we at least have a chance at survival with business able to recover there situation any way. Len Hay
