    Q: Tony Abbott is gone: Now it’s time to make sure his policies that are hurting Australians every day go too. On issue after issue, Australians have stood up and acted. The direction Tony Abbott’s government was taking us was wrong, and the change of leadership recognises this. But what is the most important policy that Malcolm Turnbull should change as new PM?
    A: Reversing cuts to health and hospital services and any form of the GP co-payment.

    WE do indeed need a Bill of Rights to ensure in writing what all Australians rights are. Ensuring Social Justice for all....Too long Aboriginal People and the Refugees and people from other lands have not had the Equality we all should have as Australians ...

    Queensland's Bill Of Rights

    Queensland is a big place.

    Queenslanders are ready for a big conversation, a conversation that is worth having - a conversation for our rights.

    It's time for a real review into a bill of rights in Queensland. We all have rights as people, it's time that our democracy recognised those rights and gave them legal protection against politicians that go too far.

    Do you support a bill of rights in Queensland?

    The LNP Federal Government would not buy off State asest as that would be taking the profits away from Abbot’s Corporation friends that provide the LNP with a war chest out of all proportion to the ALP’s donated funds from ordinary Voters. The devil does not work against himself .Only way to exorcise the LNP is to Vote it out of Government and keep it confined to the Pit of Opposition. signed Machs Colombani

    Q: Should the government use taxpayer funds to fund an ad campaign supporting privatisation?
    A: no

    Pollie Pay Choices

    The Queensland government is spending millions of dollars of taxpayer money on an ad campaign to convince Queenslanders that the selloff of our public assets would be a "strong choice."

    They’ve even included a website and survey tool designed to make it look like privatisation is a good idea, and the only way to pay for services and to pay off debt that is supposedly "unsustainable."

    But their website doesn’t tell the whole story, and the choices it allows you to make are only the ones the government wants you to make.

    For example, it doesn’t give you the option of making the "strong choice" to refuse the pollie pay rises delivered by the "independent" tribunal – a move that would save Queenslanders many millions of dollars that could be used to fund vital services.

    We’re asking for the Treasurer to:

    • refuse the massive politicians’ pay increase;
    • be honest and open, put the full facts on the table;
    • focus on getting services for Queenslanders, not on spending taxpayer money to support a "listening" campaign when you have already made up your mind.

    Take the simple three-question survey below to share your views.

    Bill Tippets comments re the Labor Governments and his vitriol can only be classed in with the party he wants to vote for .Mr Tippett has a bad memory or at least a one sided memory to the right. But hey what should you expect from a man that forgets what starting with Menzies then Fraser and Howard did to Australia? From 1950 to the 21st Century they were on the path of privatisation and Social Justice went out the window for the average Australian. Workers were denied work place justice and wages and penalties suffered . The Union lost its power under these tyrants . Now we have the shadow of a Aboott LNP government hanging above our heads following the same old formula Privatisation and Cutting Wages and Health Education and the Medical and disabled and the Aged. Tp sacfifice the underprivlged to the Altar of corpratism and privatisation .Further funding the wealthy . They left Australia in turmoil and make no mistake they spread their lies and propagand via the Media which was controlled by Murdoch and his evil empire Using all the means of the press and TV and radio to aid the LNP quest for power. Fortunately the intelligence of the Australian voter sees through the deception of the LNP. on Bills subject of Bligh and Beattie saying they were arragant and bombastic well it seems Bill doesnt seem to remember Jo Bjelke Peterson or Borbige and now we have arragant Campbell Newman at the helm Privatising anything in sight . Trying to lay their grubby corporate tainted hands on anything owned by the People of Queensland. Whats next privatising Health Education and Transport ,maybe the Police Force Transport Registration and Licencing . I wouldnt trust nor believe anything Abbott or Newman and company said or promised.

    WE at Last have the Prime Minister we voted for on 2007 again …It is a clear message that Labor is going to get on with the job of Governing this Country failry and with Social Justice for all Australians . The privatisation of the Newman LNP Conservative Government will now hopefully be curbed by the fact that Abbott and co will not win the next election that the LNP thought they were going to win.. Ordinary Australians be they workers pensioners school children or the sick and disabled want a fair go ,and every since the Menzies days Fraser and Howard they never got that .It was only when Whitleam in 1971 was elected that radical refom became real and viable . Medibank(Medicare) Education ,Pensions Hospitals Social Justice became e evident. Hawke and Keating further progressed with this agenda and the Indigenous people of Australia were recognised as Australians after all they have been here 60,000 years. and Now we have kevin Rudd back at the helm just liek Kevin 07 …we need to keep Labor in Government least our standard of living becomes a Corporate controlled standard of Living..
