Our planet is at tipping point.
What we do over the next few years will determine how much damage will be done as a result of climate change. Climate change will occur, but we can still reduce the scale of the change. However, if we do nothing the results will be disastrous.

If Tim Nicholls and the LNP win the next Queensland election they will make around $11.6 billion worth of cuts to the budget.
This would mean cutting around 22,500 Queensland jobs.

Because of you - Queensland is a step closer to a charter of rights in Queensland.
It's great news, over the weekend the Queensland Labor Party met and voted on changes to the party's platform - this included a position to implement charter of rights for Queensland. You can see the news here.

It's nearly May and we know that in the next few days the Prime Minister will call a federal election for Saturday 2 July. Here are a few updates.
Labour Day is back in May!
Queensland has a proud history when it comes to Labour Day. The first Queensland Labour Day march was held in 125 years ago in May in Barcaldine after wool shearers in Hughenden downed their tools, organised and fought for better conditions.
