 Join us at QCU Congress

Campbell Newman and the LNP government have cut thousands of jobs and broken their promises. They have weakened the public services we all rely on. Now they are claiming they are putting together a “plan” for the future, even as they continue to ignore what Queenslanders are saying on issues like privatisation.

The Queensland Council of Unions Congress will be a chance for another voice to be heard – for Queenslanders to set out a vision for jobs, rights at work, public services and keeping our public assets in public hands.

Approaching the 2015 state election, it’s important that we make sure that Queensland’s union movement campaign priorities are the right ones. That’s why a delegation of elected Together members will be taking part to ensure that important issues for Together members are reflected in the election commitments being sought from politicians. As a Working for Queenslanders supporter, you can come along and observe this important forum.
